GM40 Feedthrough

To connect airtight rubber suits or bodybags to the outside world, you can use this feed-through hose connector. Adding it to your suit or bodybag allows you to wear a gas mask or respirator inside and still get fresh air from outside. Or use it with a loose fit Suit as a huge rebreathing bag while you wear the suit.
Tipp: Combined with our VAST Breathing Switches you can suck a vaccuum to the suit and easily switch to fresh air. This opens up unimagined possibilities!

Installation:

- choose a place on your suit or bodybag where you want the feed-through element
- clean with white spirit and apply both to the bag and the enclosed rubber ring sealing glue
    a) ... for PVC and fabrics a CONTACT ADHESIVE
    b) ... for latex rubber a LATEX ADHESIVE
- allow the glue to dry before pressing on
- now cut out the redundant material from the inside of the rubber ring to create a hole
- insert the thread from the outside and counter it from the inside with the lock nut

That's it already! Now you can use the hoses of our breathing system to connect your gas mask, and combine your favorite breathing toys with the new feedthrough.

The feedthrough connector has a male connection on the inside and a female connection on the outside, both suitable for 40 mm threads.
